Hometown:
Wolfville
Relationship Status:
Married
About Me:
I'm currently working in community economic development. I write occasional commentaries, letters to the editor and I have a book project on the go.
Favorite Books:
Currently making my way through Patrick O'Brian's works of historical fiction (Re. Master & Commander, Far Side of the World. etc.). Also lots of non-fiction, covering numerous subjects.
Favorite Canadian Authors:
Farley Mowat, Al Pittman, Ernest Buckler, Michael Crummey, Harry Thurston, Jean Vanier, John Ralston Saul.
Favorite TV Shows:
I don't watch much tv because I find it too much of a distraction. And as Neil Postman once observed, most of it is either 'trash or tragedy' and not much in between. Watching tv is a serious waste of the limited time we have to walk on this earth. I'd rather read a good book. But this is just my perspective!
