Kathleen,
I don't have a favourite author of mysteries. I only read one or two in the summer when there is more time to slow down and relax at the cottage. I just finished one called Black Flies, which a friend gave me. The setting was in North Bay. Since I used to live there, the geographical references were interesting. The story itself was rather disturbing.
Thanks for accepting my friend invitation. I also enjoy 'Waking the Dead' but I'm not sure if you get that show over in Canada. You'd love the Jack the Ripper Tour. It is so atmospheric and creepy.
I hope you enjoy your stay and your tour when you come to visit England. It's nice to hear about the numbers of members of the network who are planning visits to our shores in the coming year.
We intend to book a tour and stay a few extra days in London before and after the tour. There is so much history to see as well as beautiful scenery. I am really excited!
Thank you, Heather. My husband and I are planning to take our 2 kids to England, Ireland and Wales next summer, 2009. It will definitely be a dream-com-true trip for a life-long Celtophile like me!

You are just up the road from me ( a few hours, admittedly, but not so far).
I do have favourite blogs that I visit. You can find them in the sidebar of my blog if you want to check some out - not all are authors or poets.
I notice that you read mysteries. So do I. Who do you like?
